Admitted to practice in 1994, Sharmini brings over 25 years of experience in litigation. She has been involved in a wide spectrum of litigation including family and matrimonial matters. With escalating litigation costs, Sharmini recognized that alternative dispute resolution ("ADR") is an increasingly attractive solution to businesses seeking cost-effective and timely resolution of legal issues. She actively pursues professional development courses in this area ensuring that her knowledge and skills stay relevant in line with changing trends and directions in the legal industry.

 

Sharmini is a powerful advocate for gender justice and children's rights and does pro bono work in this regard. She is also a Notary Public.

 

A seasoned senior partner with excellent skills in managing conflict and prioritizing tasks, Sharmini is known for building and strengthening relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  In recognition of her client-centered approach, Sharmini received Lexology's Client Choice Award for General Corporate in 2021.
